Updated: Jun 11, 2022

In modern society, the popularity of mobile networks and mobile phones has led to a significant increase in the incidence of eyes compared to 10 years ago.

The diseases associated with eye pain are:

Peripheral uveitis, primary retinal detachment, primary open-angle glaucoma, orbital

pseudotumor, primary common esotropia, eyeball penetrating injury, ultraviolet injury, fungal corneal ulcer, hyperopia, intraocular foreign body, etc.

Foreign body sensation (feeling foreign bodies in the eye) is caused by irritation or trauma of the cornea or conjunctival epithelium (eg, traumatic abrasion, foreign body, dry eye, corneal ulcer, keratitis).

Eye pain (deep dull pain in or behind the eye) is most often caused by intraocular or eyelid disease (eg, uveitis, glaucoma, scleritis, endophthalmitis, orbital pseudotumor). Dry eyes can also cause eye pain.

The mitigation method is as follows:

1. Eye movement

The essence is to turn the eyeball in the order that the head moves from top to bottom and then to the left and right, and the eyeball moves along with it. Every hour of work, relax the eye for 2 minutes, with the rotation can greatly relieve computer eye fatigue.

2. Blink

After working for 1 hour, keep your head back and keep blinking, so you can keep your blood flowing. When the eyes are slightly painful, it can be relieved by doing 2 or 3 blinks every hour.

3. Steaming eye

Soak a cup of small tea with boiling water, use your hands to wrap around the cup, and squint your eyes on your hands, let the hot tea smell the eyes, and change the left and right eye wheels. The type of tea is best based on chrysanthemum tea, avoiding drinks such as coffee.

4. Food nutrition law

The family recipes are mainly vegetables and fruits, which help to relieve eye pain and prevent long-term eye diseases.

In addition, Traditional Chinese Medicines, including herbs application and taking medicines, as well as eye acupuncture, can be used to enhance the blood flow around the eyes to achieve treatment and improve eyesight.
